Governor Sanwo-Olu Inaugurates Lagos State Palliative Advisory Committee

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated the Lagos State Special Dispensation “Palliative” Advisory Committee, tasked with providing crucial advice and guidance on palliative measures for the state.
It was reported that Governor Sanwo-olu had a media chat on Thursday, where he mentioned providing palliatives for Lagosians among other things for the easement of economic hardship ravaging the country.
The new committee will be chaired by the Governor and replace by his deputy, Obafemi Hazmat in his absence.
The newly inaugurated committee includes notable figures such as Imam Abdulazeez Onike, Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Honorable Seyi Sowunmi, a representative member of the LP in the House of Representatives, and Mrs. Joe Okei-Odumakin, a renowned human rights activist.
Other members include Honorable Kolade Alabi, Barrister Taofeeq Ganiu, Dr. Shina Fagbenro-Byron, Honorable Ademola Shabi, Comrade Biliaminu Oba, Mrs. Sola Salako-Ajulo, Pastor Gorman Akinlabi, and Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, who will serve as the committee’s secretary.
The committee consist of a diverse representation spanning religious, political, and advocacy backgrounds, poised to offer comprehensive insights and recommendations to address the needs of Lagosians during these challenging times.
