Lagos Youth Chairman, Biliaminu Sulaimon-Oba Gets Role in Special Dispensation Palliative Advisory Committee

As part of efforts to ensure broad distribution of its proposed palliatives in the state, the Lagos State Government under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (Lagos State Chapter), Comrade Olalekan Biliaminu Sulaimon-Oba as a member of the Lagos State Special Dispensation Palliative Advisory Committee.

 

It would be recalled that the Governor at a media parley with Lagosians on Thursday mentioned various palliative arrangements aimed at cushioning the sudden rise in the cost of living in Lagos state and by extent I on Nigeria.

 

Expressing his gratitude, Comrade Biliaminu Sulaimon-Oba conveyed appreciation to Governor Sanwoolu for providing the youth with a vital role in this critical assignment. He noted that the governor’s commitment to youth involvement demonstrates a progressive approach to governance, recognizing the importance of diverse perspectives in shaping policies.

 

The inauguration of the bipartisan committee saw the inclusion of prominent individuals from various sectors amongst whom are;  Imam Abdulazeez Onike (Chief Missioner, NASFAT); Hon Seyi Sowunmi (LP Reps member); Mrs Joe Okei-Odumakin; Hon Kolade Alabi; Barrister Taofeeq Ganiu (PDP Secretary); and Dr. Shina Fagbenro-Byron (LP member, former DFID official).

 

Also on the Committee are; Hon. Ademola Shabi (Rep, LAHA); Mrs. Sola Salako-Ajulo (Consumer Rights Advocate); Pastor Gorman Akinlabi (Senior Pastor, Elevation Church) while Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of LG was appointed the secretary of the committee.
