Former Nigeria’s Flying Eagles Captain dies at 31

Isaac Promise, former Nigerian striker, has died at the age of 31 following a brief illness.

The captain passed away Wednesday.

Isaac was the captain of the Flying Eagles in the 2013 FIFA U17 world cup held in Finland, as well as the 2005 FIFA U20 world cup in Netherlands.

The striker also played a pivotal role in the country’s silver finish in Beijing; scoring in the 2-1 triumph against USA in the preliminary round.
