Khalid Balogun, the son of Nollywood Ex-couple, Saidi and Fathia Balogun has graduated with a first class degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos.
The 23 year old graduate excelled not only in academics but in other aspects like dancing, performing choreography among others—a passion fueled with hardwork which earn him a spot to perform alongside the Afrobeat star, Ayra Starr as a dancer at Lagos Live Concert in December 28, 2024.
Khalid Balogun is an actor and a choreographer with a fast growing experience in the entertainment industry. His graduation with a first class degree is a remarkable feat, reflecting his hardwork, discipline and dedication to his studies.
His achievement was celebrated by his parents despite alleged years of separation between the two since 2013.
Taking to Instagram, Fathia shared the joyous news alongside a heartfelt message in celebration of her son’s achievement.
She prayed for his continued efforts and achievement, wishing him happiness and fulfillment as he emback on a new chapter of life.
In her words, “Hmm, I’m short of words… Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah! My darling son, @khalidgram__, I’m overwhelmed with joy and gratitude as I celebrate your incredible achievement! You’ve worked tirelessly and persevered through the challenges, and today, you’ve emerged with a FIRST CLASS DEGREE from the University of Lagos’ Creative Department!
“Alhamdulillah, my heart is bursting with pride and love for you, my darling son! As you embark on this new journey, I ask that you continue to be guided by faith, courage, and determination.”
Also, his father, Saidi Balogun, while taking to his Instagram page, shared a thoughtful message showing pride and success of his son’s achievement. He wrote, “What joy is greater than this? I am proud of you Khalid Ayomide Balogun. You have made me proud today, so also, will your children make you proud. My son graduated with a 1st class!! Thank you, Almighty Allah. Thank you for bringing joy back to my heart.”
