One Bukola Odeyemi, 20, a student of Ekiti State University Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her 22-year-old boyfriend, John Iju.
This was confirmed by the state’s police spokesman, DSP Caleb Ikechukwu.
The 300-level Biology Education student allegedly stabbed John at Treasure Best Hostel, Iworoko-Ekiti for falling to give her N2, 500 to make her hair.
Witnesses confirmed to Blackbox Nigeria that the incident occurred at about 10pm on Tuesday.
Blackbox Nigeria also gathered that the refusal of Iju to meet up with the suspects demand resulted in a flaming argument which impelled the suspect to stab the deceased.
The neighbors were attracted by the sound of the deceased yelling for help.
DSP Caleb stated that the suspect will be charged to court after investigations are concluded.
