Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, a popular singer better known as Skales on stage by his fans, has revealed how the officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) broke into his apartment around 4 am on Tuesday.

Narrating on the incident on the wee hours of October 10th, the rapper narrated that the operatives of the anti-graft agency entered his residence armed with guns, sticks, and hammers, and broke down his back door with coercion while he was asleep.

He added that the officers argued they got intel that he was into fraud and that the invasion was a routine check.

Skales disclosed the details on X account, saying that one of the officers called him, threatening to implicate him in some wrongdoing, simply because he shared his ordeal on social media.

“I am not a criminal. I have never don fraud in my life. You came in with guns to oppress me in front of my daughter and her mother & my staff. You will never prosper in anything you do as long as you’re EFCC staff! You will always be a failure.

“Why do you (EFCC) operate at night? Is armed robbery part of your job description? Because I need explanation. Truth is who [do] you want to report to because nothing works in this country! They only know how to abuse power.”
