Drama as BBC live programme gets interrupted by porn sounds

There was a mild drama on Tuesday after the BBC Sports Live programme got interrupted by porn sounds.

The sound which played for 10 minutes came on air during the BBC’s live coverage of the Wolves’ FA Cup tie with Liverpool.

This threw the broadcaster, Gary Lineker off balance as he struggled to figure out where the sound was coming from although Lineker immediately managed the situation by making a joke directed at sports pundit, Danny Murphy, saying, “‘Would you stop making those noises, Danny.”

In a bid to further manage the situation, Lineker cut away for a pre-match interview with Jurgen Klopp, but the sounds resumed after returning to the studio.

It was not until the end of the programme that a hidden mobile where the sounds came from was found.

Lineker took to his Twitter page to display a photo of the phone where the sounds came from.

He tweeted, “Well, we found this taped to the back of the set.

“As sabotage goes it was quite amusing.”

Fans have turned to the comment section to make jokes about the situation and how someone at the BBC was going to lose their job, while some referred to it as ‘the magic of the cup.”
