Kogi West lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye for the last 20 hours has been trending on the social media after a video he released went viral. In the video, the politician called out people in the habit of investigating wealthy individuals.
According to Senator Melaye, when an individual is ridden in poverty, no one will be interested to investigate reason why the person is poor, but when things turn around, all hands will be on deck to investigate the source.

The lawmaker’s outburst is coming at a time President Buhari-led administration is clamping down on individuals suspected to have looted the treasury under previous administrations.
