Defending champions Ilupeju Secondary School and Ghetto Tigers Ladies have reiterated their readiness for the 5th El Nino challenge cup scheduled to kick off on Monday 20th February 2023 at Ilupeju Secondary School and Eko Boys High School.
The competition will feature 8 teams in both the male and female categories namely Ghetto Tigers FC, Lyon blessed FA, Eko Boys High School, Ilupeju Secondary school(Male), Ghetto Tigers Ladies, Ilupeju Secondary School(Female), Rising Star queens and Headliners Amazons.
Speaking with the members of the press at the draw ceremony, the captain of Ghetto Tigers Ladies, Bello Misturah said ” Although we have won the competition twice on the bounce, we are hoping with determination and seriousness, we can be 3rd time lucky”.
The captain of the most successful side in the competition, Ilupeju Secondary School also has this to say “We have won this competition twice and are the most successful side. It is a pointer that we are doing something right and I hope we can replicate some that feat this year again”.
