Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has expressed his elation after being nominated three times on the upcoming Grammy Awards list.
Checks by the BlackBox Nigeria shows that ‘Timeless,’ ‘Feel’ and ‘Unavailable’ featuring Musa Keys hit the best Global African Music performance and best African Music performance categories of the award respectively.
Expressing his excitement over the development, Davido posted on his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle that the delay he got while trying to secure the recognition does not finally meant he would not get there with this new development.
“3 nominations at the Grammys!! Delay is not denial!! 🏆🌎, he said.
Davido said this following the release of the nomination list of the award by the Recording Academy in the United States earlier on Friday.
