Nigerian singer Davido and friends of the bride-to-be, Chioma Rowland, threw a surprise bridal shower for her on Sunday night at a picturesque waterside venue in Lekki, Lagos.
A video from the celebration shows Chioma, resplendent in a crown and “Bride-to-be” sash, dancing and beaming with joy as Iyanya serenades her. Her loved ones cheered her on, creating an electric atmosphere filled with love and joy.
The surprise party comes ahead of the couple’s highly anticipated wedding on Tuesday, which Davido has been hyping on social media with the hashtag #CHIVIDO2024. On Sunday, he shared stunning pre-wedding photos, giving fans a glimpse into their special day.
Chioma revealed how Davido surprised her, saying: “I know this event center, and David said we were coming to eat. I told him, ‘This is not a restaurant, I’m hungry, I want to eat!’ And when we got here, I saw balloons and started screaming, ‘You Guys Got Me!'”
