COVID19: Obiano Completes Construction Of 240-Bed Space Isolation Centre In Anambra State

Governor Obiano of Anambra State has completed the construction of a 240-bed space isolation facility in Anambra State

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has disclosed his administration readiness to contain the dreaded coronavirus should there be any positive case in the State.

The Governor’s commitment was made known after it successfully completed a newly built 240 bed space isolation facility located at the State’s NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Umuawulu.

BlackBox Nigeria gathered that a number of medical equipment were delivered to the facility at the end of last month and all is set for use.

The Isolation centre is located at the State’s NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Umuawulu

As at 8pm on Wednesday April 1st, there are 174 confirmed cases spread across 12 States plus the FCT in Nigeria with 9 persons discharged so far and 2 deaths. Below is the statistics of cases per State;
