Confusion as IPOB members storm church where Anambra Governor, Willie Obaino was worshiping
It was a mild drama yesterday as members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB stormed St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ekwulobia where the Governor, Willie Obaino was worshiping with other members of the congregation.
The Biafran agitators forced their way into the premises of the church and attempted to disrupt the ongoing service while chanting that there will be no elections if a referendum wasn’t held.
The agitators who reportedly consisted of young men and women adorned in Biafran colors chanted different Biafran anthems while also shouting “No election in Anambra State”, “We want referendum”, and “No referendum, no election.”
The Governor’s security details BlackBox Nigeria gathered had to seal the church building to prevent the warring agitators from gaining entrance.
