Conference 57 elects new leadership

 

The Executive Chairman of Bariga LCDA, Hon. Kolade Alabi, has been elected as the Chairman of Conference 57, an umbrella body of all the chairmen in the twenty local governments and thirty seven local council development areas in Lagos State.

Alabi is also the President of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON).

The position of secretary went to Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala, the newly elected Chairman, of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA.

Other positions include Vice Chairman (Central) Hon. Toyose Olusi, Hon. Kola Ganiu Egunjobi Vice Chairman (West), Hon. Dele Oshinowo – Vice Chairman(East), Hon. Rashidat Essien – Treasurer, Hon. Joseph Gbenu – Financial Secretary, Hon. Sesan Daini – Publicity Secretary, Hon. Rashidat Adu – Welfare Officer, Hon. Jelili Suleiman – Organizing Secretary, Hon. Fatai Ayoola – Legal and Hon. Anomo Adewale Ibrahim – Ex-Officio.
