Lagos State House of Assembly member and actor, Desmond Elliot, has apologised again to President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, over his actions during the last All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.

In a new video circulating online, Elliot was seen kneeling and later prostrating before Gbajabiamila during a meeting with party leaders, asking for forgiveness and reconciliation.

“I’m sorry. I have no excuse; I have nothing other than to say I’m deeply sorry,” Elliot said.

He added, “In our culture, we prostrate. Don’t be angry, Daddy.”

Gbajabiamila subsequently asked him to get up.

The Surulere Constituency I lawmaker also pledged renewed loyalty to the APC leadership, saying he may have been misguided during the primary.

The latest apology comes after Elliot had previously apologised to Gbajabiamila during an appearance on TVC’s Your View, describing him as his political mentor.
