By With his proud mother watching on, the award for the January Player Of The Month was presented to young defender, Hamzat Wareez having polled the highest number of votes to see off the challenge mounted by Ojubanire Azeez and Ogunleye Muiz.
The players unanimously agreed that the kid trained like a workaholic all through the month of January.
The award was presented by an astute sportsman and Sports coordinator of Birch Freeman High School, Mr Akinrinade aka Daddy Daddy.
In his introductory remark, Mr Akinrinade reckoned that all the players were winner but it was only possible for one player to pick up the award.
He concluded by spurring up the other players to give their 100% so as to have a mathematical chance of winning the award in the month of February.
