Businessman Promises Super Eagles $20,000 For Every Goal Scored In Yaounde
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be earning additional hard currencies should they keep up with their goal scoring form started on Friday.
An influential businessman, Aka Udofia has offered the team $20,000 for each goal they score today in Cameroon. Udofia who is a big fan of the Super Eagles made this pledge in a letter to the Nigerian Football Federation.
According to him, he was impressed with the lads’ performance in Uyo Friday and couldn’t hide his excitement when he spoke to them on Sunday before they left the Ibom International Airport for Cameroon.
“I watched the game against the Cameroonians here in Uyo on Friday and I am sure you have the ability to conquer them again in their own territory,” Udofia who is the Chief Executive Officer of Desicorn Company said.
Nigeria faces Cameroon at home in the return leg of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
