By President Muhammadu Buhari earlier today cancelled the weekly Federal Executive Council to commiserate with the victims of the accidental bombing of the IDP Camp in Rann, Maiduguri, Borno State. He also sent some government officials to deliver his condolences.
In a statement signed by the presidential spokesperson, Femi Adesina, Buhari was unable to carry on with the weekly executive meeting as he continued to mourn the dead victims.
Among the delegation sent to Maiduguri are; Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Defence Dan Ali, Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari and all the Service Chiefs.
