Buhari at 80: 5 Major Failures Of Nigeria’s Oldest President

President Muhammadu Buhari administration has closely come to an end and the President has had rough path so far.

The president had spent 8years of his administration which seems to have failed in his 2015 presidential campaign promises.

Buhari administration had failed woefully looking at the security, Educational sector, Unemployment, Health sector, Electrity and power supply.

These five major sectors are very important in a country for it building and a president should not have failed in it.

1. Nigeria security services have been termed the worst as there had been killings by bandits , Boko Haram and kidnapping within the country as there are no tight security operatives.

2. The Educational sector has gone worsen as the longest strike was recorded during his regime. It could be recall that ASUU went on 8months strike which is recorded as the longest strike.

3. Unemployment as turned many graduates to a wanderer as they roam around the streets. Muhammadu Buhari had once said “there is no work from the Federal, state and Local government in the country, thereby urging youths to embrace agriculture.”

4. The health sector had no touch of Improvement as the longest brain drain was recorded during his administration. Most Nigeria doctors now opted out of the country to find greener pastures, and many citizens both old and young are dying due to inadequate facilities in government hospitals.

5. However, the electricity and power supply had no changes as there had been series of National grid blackout recorded during President Buhari administration.

The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari celebrates his 80th birthday as the Oldest president in Nigeria.

President Buhari was born on 17th December, 1942 in Daura, Katsina State to Adamu and Zulaiha Buhari.

He was the elected president of Nigeria since may 27 2016 making him one of the President who spent two administrations in Nigeria.
