News reaching BlackBox Nigeria at this moment confirms Bus Rapid Transit Drivers operating in the Ikorodu-CMS route are currently at loggerheads with Primero Investment, the company managing operations of the buses.

Commuters woke up to empty terminals as the Drivers due to the peaceful protest refused to move buses out to their pick-up points.

This situation have made the ever busy terminals on the axis to be scanty and in its own shadow. An eyewitness informed BBN that the drivers are protesting for non payment of salaries.

Several attempts made by BBN to get officials of Primero proved abortive, as they neither respond to calls or reply to text sent in respect of the situation.

When a BBN correspondent paid visit to the Majidun office of the company, the drivers were seen in their numbers protesting while men of the Nigeria Police Force were seen trying to calm the situation.
