Wizkid took to his Snap story to reply to rappers who criticized his statement in an interview with 10 Magazine earlier in the week.

Earlier yesterday, it was reported that Oladips released a diss track in response to Wizkid’s statement about rap being ” boring and dead”. He went ahead to tell Wizkid to take the backseat if he doesn’t have anything to contribute.

Fans of the Afrobeats singer took turns in mouth-washing the indigenous rapper for his track, at the same time supporting their idol.

The Grammy Award-winning Wizkid responded to his critics via a series of stories on his Snapchat handle, calling them “broke boys”, with the laughing emoji. He claimed Nasty C, Sarkodie, and Black Sherif are the only rappers in Africa.

He typed, ” can’t believe y’all broke boys really thought Big Wiz will talk about y’all. Wow.

“Y’all keep sending una pops rap videos! I go dey watch maybe I fit help una mama life”, he concluded.
