By A former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Rotimi Akeredolu has emerged the the candidate of the All President Congress in the coming gubernatorial election in Ondo state.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria who was the candidate of Action Congress of Nigeria in 2012 defeated 23 others to emerge victorious.
Akeredolu scored 669 votes as against his closest rival, Segun Abraham who polled a total of 635 votes. Segun Abraham is rumoured to be the preferred candidate of the party’s national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Total Number of accredited delegates : 2,774.
