Breaking! Nigeria Beats Zambia To Qualify For 6th World Cup
The Nigerian national team, Super Eagles have defeated the Chipolopolo of Zambia in the ROund 3 of Group B qualifying match. The match ended 1-0 after substitute, Alex Iwobi found the back of the net.
The victory at the Uyo Township Stadium is enough to push the Nigerian side to the 2018 World Cup in Russia as it places them in the first position having gathered 13pts from 5matches played.
The Zambian side were able to put off all the chances just as they were unable to convert theirs to goals in the first half of the match which later ended on goal less draw.

The second half looked promising for the Eagles as they kept pressure on their opponents, but they were unable to get a goal to separate the sides until Arsenal forward, Iwobi came on in the 66minute as he came on for William Troost-Ekong and got a clear shot to the back of the net in the 74 minute.
The Super Eagles will be playing their last Group B stage match against Algeria on November 6th, 2017.
