Nigerian cryptocurrency businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has broken his silence following his release from detention, saying he remains confident of clearing his name in court.

Blord, who was recently granted bail after being remanded over allegations including fraud-related offences, had spent days in custody at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja.

In his first public reaction, the businessman expressed gratitude to his supporters and described his experience in detention as challenging. He maintained that the allegations against him are unfounded and assured that he would pursue legal means to prove his innocence.

His arrest and detention had generated widespread reactions on social media, drawing attention from both supporters and critics, particularly due to his online presence and influence in the cryptocurrency space.

Legal proceedings in the case are expected to continue in the coming weeks.
