Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has expressed frustration over the prolonged delay in the release of the autopsy results for the late rapper Mohbad, who passed away under controversial circumstances on September 12, 2023.
Bella Shmurda, who shared a deep friendship with Mohbad, took to his X handle on Saturday night to voice his concerns.
He lamented that two months have passed since the rapper’s demise, and his body, exhumed for autopsy, is yet to be granted a “befitting burial.”
In a social media post, Bella Shmurda urged the authorities, particularly the police, to expedite the release of Mohbad’s body for a proper burial.
His message conveyed both impatience and a plea for closure.
He wrote, “It’s been over 2 months since Mohbad died, and his body was taken in for autopsy, but yet no result, which is fine, but please release his body. That boy needs a befitting burial and to go to rest finally. Naija police, what’s going on? We need an answer here. Where is the result? Where is his body?”
