John Okoro, a Nigerian drug peddler that was in detention in India has escaped from detention just as he was scheduled to be deported back home.
BlckBox Nigeria learnt that the 35-years-old drug dealer had been in detention since 2014 after he was found guilty of trying to sell banned substances.
Mumbai Mirror reported that the Nigerian having served his jail term in India was scheduled for deportation before he escaped from prison.
BBN gathered that Okoro who had served his time at the Anti-narcotics Cell in Azad Maidan had on Monday, january 2nd, 2017 requested to be taken to the toilet but took the opportunity of getting outside his cell to escape.
It was reported that he jumped off the balcony and crashed through the abestos roof and ran away on foot. A constable that was guarding him who attempted to jump after him is still currently receiving treatment in the hospital just as a manhunt has been launched to arrest the runng drug peddler.
