Nigerian afrobeats superstar, Wizkid, in twelve minutes, sold out tickets to his November ‘Made In Lagos’ concert billed to hold at the 02 Arena in London, United Kingdom.

Recall the Grammy award winner released his fourth studio album, Made in Lagos, on October 30, 2021, and announced a North America tour to support his album.

He had said the tour would start September 10, 2020 in Orpheum Theatre, Boston unit and end January 22, 2021 in Mtelus, Montreal, Qc. He reportedly sold out the tickets for the Toronto tour in minutes.

Last month, he had extended the London tour date from November 28 to November 29.

Recall that Wizkid had sold out the 02 in 12 minutes in London and had made this known via a tweet which reads “02 Arena ticket sold out in 12 mins, I love you London.”

This time around, the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner sold out the venue in lesser minutes. The elated musician took to his verified Twitter page and wrote, “Sold out!!! In 2 minutes. Uk love you love you love you.”

The tweet has since gotten a lot of reactions from fans, as it gained 4 comments, 54 re-tweets and 101 likes just under 27 seconds of posting.

Accordingly, the superstar has again extended the date of the tour, December 1 due to “incredible demand”. The announcement of the date extension was made by the 02 Arena via their Twitter handle.

“Due to incredible demand @wizkidayo adds a 3rd date at the 02 on Wednesday 1 December. Tickets on sale now,” the tweet said.

Meanwhile this is not the first time Wizkid is selling out the 02. In October 2019, he made the feat with his “Starboy Fest”, becoming the first African artiste to do so.
