By The image you are about to view is no scene from a Nollywood movie but an ugly reality that happened in the early hours of yesterday’s morning as a man was seen to have hung himself on a tree, committing suicide.
The ugly occurrence occurred at a compound behind the Tafawa Balewa Square, TBS, Obalende with its gate directly opposite the Lagos State High court beside Kings College.
The deceased was identified with his driver’s licence which proved him to be 60 years of age with an Alagbado address.
Community members and passer-by reached out to the Police authority from Lion Building to behold the scene but before they were allowed to untie the deceased from the tree, some herbalist were called upon to perform rituals.
Black Box Nigeria has it on good authority that later in the day, the same set of herbalists arrived the scene to finally cut down the ‘evil tree’.
