Just In! Epe Six Regains Freedom In Ondo State

Fresh reports filtering in confrms that the six students kidnapped from Lagos State Model College, Igbonla have been released in Ondo State, South West, Nigeria.

Report reaching BBN has it that the six Senior Secondary School Students of Lagos Model College, Igbonla, Epe, who were abducted on May 25, 2017, has finally regained freedom.

The student were reported to be rescued by the efforts of Lagos and Ondo States Government in partnership with theNigeria Police from Aboto creek, Ilaje , in Ondo state.

The kidnappers before the rescue had earler told some of the parents of the students to reach out to others in order to deliberate on how to raise the N100m as well as mounting pressure on the
State government to raise the money for them.

The students, Pelumi Philips, Farouq Yusuf, Isiaq Rahmon, Adebayo George, Judah Agbausi and Peter Jonah were abducted from their school and when the
kidnappers established contact with the parents, a ransom of N400m was initially demanded but this was later reduced to N100m owing to the inability of the parents to meet up with the demand.
