Fuji maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, is grieving the loss of his beloved mother, Alhaja Halimot Shadiya Anifowoshe, who passed away at the impressive age of 105 after some days of mourning his ex-wife, Alhaja Hafsat Ajoke Anifowose.
The legendary musician shared the sad news with his followers on his official Facebook page, where he expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the matriarch.
The matriarch who was a princess of Ipetu Ekiti lived a remarkable life with the popularity of his son.
Alhaja Halimot’s death marks the end of an era of motherly support for the music legend, who credits much of his success to the support and influence of his mother throughout his career.
Known for her unwavering faith and devotion to her family, she was a source of strength and inspiration for K1 De Ultimate and others around her.
Since the announcement, fans, colleagues, and well-wishers have flooded the musician’s social media pages with heartfelt messages of condolence, praying for the repose of her soul and offering words of comfort to the grieving family.
As at the time of filing this report, her remains is yet to be buried according to Islamic rites.
