Popular Nigerian actress and singer, Bisola Aiyeola is in a celebratory mood as she marks 36th birthday today, January 21.
Taking to her Instagram page, the excited reality TV star shared stunnning pictures to celebrate her special day.
Here are 10 things you probably didn’t know about her.
1. For her tertiary education, she studied business management at the National Open University.
2. She is a mother of one. Her daughter is named Joan Olanrewaju. In 2018, Malcolm Olanrewaju, her daughter’s father, died of an illness.
3. In 2008, the uber-talented songstress came 5th at MTN Project Fame West Africa, a music talent TV show.
4. Aiyeola rose into prominence when she emerged first runner-up at the 2017 edition of popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija.
5. She is also TV host. Between 2011 to 2013, Aiyeola anchored Billboard Nigeria which aired on Silverbird Television.
6. In the course of her acting career, she has featured in several leading Nollywood movies such as Gold Statue, Bling Lagosians, Sugar Rush, This Lady Called Life, among others.
7. In 2018, she was awarded the Trail Blazer Award at the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
8. For role in the movie ‘Sugar Rush’, she also won the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role (English) at the Best of Nollywood Awards in 2020.
9. She made her debut as a movie producer with the movie, Introducing The Kujus in 2020. The comedy drama was co-produced by Winifred Okpapi and directed by Biodun Stephen.
10. She was recently announced as the host of the fifth season of NdaniTV’s Real Talk, a foremost talk show in Nigeria.
