High profile corruption cases to be tried in these courts includes that of Ayodele Fayose (ex-Gov of Ekiti State) for alleged financial corruption amounting to a sum of ₦2.2bn, Jacob K. Dogo for ₦4m, Barnabas Johnson Akonjie for $149k, Prophet Cletus Ilongwo for ₦4.9m, Sylvester Osalase for Internet fraud and Mayaki Monday for Internet fraud.
