By Lagos State Removes Age Long Sculpture Of Oba Ogunji At Agege Pen Cinema
The popular Pen Cinema round about in Agege is now going for a new look as officials of the Lagos State Government were seen on Wednesday removing the sculptural work with the design of an erstwhile traditional ruler in the town, Oba Ogunji.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the removal of the popular statue was in connection with ongoing plans of the State Government to construct a flyover in the area.
It was leant that the plan for the fly over bridge was arrived at after deliberations on how to ease traffic congestions in the area.
