* She was born 46 years ago to parents from Epe in Lagos State. She however grew up in Isale-Eko, Lagos Island.
* She studied Catering and Hotel Management at Lagos State Polytechnic, Isolo Campus.

* She stumbled on acting as an undergraduate in LASPOTECH. Top production house, Wale Adenuga Productions were filming in her school when she walked up to the director, Antar Laniyan about getting a role. It initially seemed impossible until the person who was supposed to take a particular role wasn’t available. That was how she got her chance at stardom.
* Apart from Yoruba movies, Aisha also featured in soaps like Papa Ajasco, So Wrong, So Wright (Super Story), This Life, The Valley Between and many others.

* Her first lead role shot her into limelight. The movie was named ‘Omoge Campus’ and the moniker stuck with her all through her career.
* Aisha Abimbola got married to hubby, Victor Ibrahim in February 2005.

* Aisha before her death was the Vice President of The Golden Movie Ambassadors of Nigeria (TGMAN) led by veteran actor, Saidi Balogun.
