One Junaidu Shehu, a ‘notorious’ bandit and kidnapper, has been arrested by the Zamfara Police Command, Blackboxnigeria gathered.
Shehu, and other bandits, sometime in 2019, invaded the Fasa Gora village, where he hails from, kidnapping the daughter of the District Head of Village.
The sum of one million, one hundred thousand naira, was said to have been as ransom.
Similarly, the suspect and his co-conspirators brutally ambushed and killed four vigilante members who were defending the Fasa Gora village against bandit attacks.
In one of the suspects most recent attacks, on April 1, 2020, he and his cohorts attacked the same village, killing substantial number of people.
