Under an extremely comfortable atmosphere on Sunday afternoon, Ghetto Light football club of Mushin defeated Right FA of ebutte Metta 4 – 2 on penalties to clinch the 2019 edition of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) Unity Cup at the campus Mini Stadium, Onikan, Lagos.
The grand finale of the annual event kicked off with a novelty game between Team Remi Tinubu and Team Urban view. It was immediately followed up with another football friendly between Eko Football Stars and Island all-star.

the curtain drew on friendlies and Novelties, it was time for the business of the day. A final encounter between Ghetto Light FC and Right FA of Ebutte metta.
A little drama ensued before kick off when the captain of the under 13 side of Ghetto Light FC, Rahmon Basit was ruled out of the game due to his reputation in the category. Vice captain Bankole Suliamon was immediately handed the Captain’s handband for the encounter.
After series of chances left unconverted by both sides over the course of two halfs, the game went into the lottery of penalty kicks.
The Goal keeper of Ghetto Light FC was handed the responsibility to lead the packs to victory with the first spot kick but it was not to be as he stuttered his penalty to the happy hands of the opposition goalkeeper.
Right FA scored their first two spot kicks and looked good for the trophy.
However, it was temporary as the boy between the sticks for the Ghetto Ballers made up for his earlier howler by stopping the third and fourth spot kicks of the opposition in quick succession.
His rejuvenated form woke up his team from slumber as they successful converted four consecutive spot kicks.
To delivery the trophy for his side, Talented winger Yusuf Emmanuel had to keep is composure as he sent the keeper the wrong way to score the winning penalty.
The Ghetto Light under 13 team remain undefeated in all competition this season.
