By A woman has come forward during the Fidau Prayer held on Monday, May 22nd, 2023, in Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos State, accusing the late Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi, of owing her a substantial sum of N1.4 million.
The shocking revelation adds a new twist to the tragic demise of the 49-year-old actor, who reportedly slipped in his bathroom, hitting his head on the floor, resulting in his untimely death.
A recently surfaced video captured the woman making these claims during the religious gathering. Stepping forward, she addressed the Alfa, a religious leader, and disclosed that she had entered into a business arrangement with Murphy Afolabi, who allegedly owed her the substantial sum.
“I am here today to seek justice for the debt owed to me by the late Murphy Afolabi. He owes me a total of N1.4 million,” the woman stated firmly, her voice filled with determination.
The revelation has left many surprised, as Murphy Afolabi was widely regarded as a talented actor and a respected member of the Nollywood industry.
