Ahead of the 2016 Nigeria Union Of Local Government Employee (NULGE), Lagos State Chapter scheduled to hold on September 22nd, at ASCON in Badagry, Lagos, a major contender for the position of NULGE State Welfare Officer, Comrade Hakeem Adeniyi a.k.a Gbabee, has said that he is in the race to protect the interest of Local Government Staff in Lagos State.
Speaking exclusively to BlackBox Nigeria, Gbabee who is seeking re-election for the post of State Welfare Officer, said his record of performance in the current administration and before speaks for itself.
“This current administration that I am the State Welfare Officer, the administration has been consistent in putting the interest of our staff first at all times. We made it a priority to do so and our records speak for itself, “ he said.
Gbabee who has served the Union in various capacities before his current assignment noted that the experiences he had gathered enables him to serve with passion and utmost dedication.
Gbabee was Treasurer and Chairman of NULGE in Apapa Local Government before moving to State level were he has been serving diligently.
