By Weeks After Dissolving Cabinet, Fayose Appoints Ñew Commissioners
Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose has announced the appointment of new Commissioners.
This new appointment is coming weeks after he sacked his former Commissioners who have been working with him for over two years.
The appointment of the new State Executive Council was contained in a statement signed by Governor Fayose’s Special Adviser of Public Communication and New Media, Mr Lere Olayinka.
He disclosed that the new Commissioners have been issued with their various portfolios.
Among those newly appointed are Kola Kolade as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice; Hon Ayo Alabi as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; Hon Lanre Ogunsuyi as Commissioner for Information, Youth and Sports; Hon Taye Otitoju, Commissioner for Lands.
Others are, Hon Gbenga Olajide as Commissioner for Budget and Planning; Hon Jide Egunjobi as Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology; Chief Tunde Ogunleye as Commissioner for Water Resources and Mrs Olayinka Ogunsuyi as Commissioner for Women Affairs.
