By The Nigerian entertainment scene might be preparing to host another celebrity wedding after celebrated filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba announced her engagement to her lover, Oscar Heman-Ackah.
The ‘King of Boys’ director took to her verified Instagram page on Wednesday to reveal that she got engaged on January 28, 2022 but decided to keep the good news to herself.
Adetiba, sharing pictures from the engagement party, penned a lengthy note where she chronicled what played out on that memorable day.
“So dear FAMILY, on the 28th of January in Ghana, delivered as a beautiful surprise and expression of love, and in the presence of some close friends and family, @oscarhemanackah asked that we spend the rest of our lives together, and I wholeheartedly said YES… without a single reservation.
“I would like to add here, that every single friend or member of my family that conspired in this surprise proposal, should just be on the look out for my retaliation… Cos it’ll be merciless!!,” she wrote.
She also described Oscar Heman-Ackah — who happens to be a Ghanaian music producer — as “a very lucky man”, hinting fans and well-wishers that she’s planning a real wedding party soon.
Colleagues and fans of the ace filmmaker have since flooded her page with congratulatory wishes and messages.
