The National Youth Service Corps in Gombe State has vowed to punish any corps member who put on mufti in camp.

While congratulating the newly sworn-in corps members, Alhassan Ndako, the Camp Director stated that “Corps members must use the kit items issued to them by NYSC Management and must not use anything other than that. Anyone caught would be dealt with.”

This was contained in his statement at the Gombe State swearing-in ceremony for the 2021 Batch ā€˜Cā€™ Stream I Corps members.

Ndako further advised corps members to follow COVID 19 prevention measures, adding that water, sanitizer and liquid hand wash should be used appropriately.

The swearing ceremony of 1,176 corps members, comprising 562 females and 614 males took place on Tuesday at the temporary orientation campground in Amada Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State.
