US Doesn’t Invite Heads Of State To It’s Presidential Inauguration- Presidency Reveals

Nigeria’s Presidency have revealed that it is in the tradition of the United States of America not to invite Heads of State/Presidents to its presidential inauguration?

This was disclosed by President Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu.

The presidential spokesperson said it was important to clear the media of rumours that Nigeria’s current President was being snubbed for the swearing-in of United States 45th President, Donald Trump.

He said, “Gentlemen, I think we should respond to refute this falsehood. The US does not invite Heads of State or President to the inauguration of their Presidents. Our President could therefore, not have been snubbed.”

Winner of the November 8th presidential election in the United States is expected to be sworn in to office today, January 20th, 2017
