The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) will be broadcasting all the matches of the upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) holding in Cote d’ Ivoire.
On Wednesday, January 3rd, 2023, MultiChoice Group revealed that it had failed to acquire the broadcasting rights for tournament. The broadcast powerhouse further explained that its SuperSport channel is unlikely to show the competition billed to commence on January 13 in Ivory Coast.
NTA took to its official X handle on Wednesday to announce that it signed a memorandum of understanding (Mou) with Afro Sports.
With this development, NTA will have the chance to officially broadcast all the 52 matches of the tournament which kicks off on January 13.
