Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, an industrous daughter of Ikorodu area of Lagos was recently honoured with a double awards; Ambassador for Peace and Impactful Leadership award by United Nations under the Youth Federation for World Peace.
The award designed to acknowledge individuals whose goals are driven for the purpose of many and activities that promotes universal moral values, interreligious cooperation, and other activities that correlates with the objectivity of the UN.
The award ceremony which was held at the IBIS Hotel, Ikeja on Friday, December 30th, 2016 was themed: “Raising Nigeria’s Next Generation Impactful Leaders” and had Senator Godswill Akpabio as the Keynote Speaker, who was also the Chairman of the occasion.
Also awarded on that day were Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Governor Nyesom Wike, Sullivan Chime, Senator Akpabio, Dr Afamefune Stanley Okafor among others.
Special guests invited to graced the occasion by Princess Olabanji-Oba include; Hon Babajimi Benson (MFR), Hon Sanai Agunbiade (Majority Leade of LAHA), Hon Nurudeen Solaja, Hon N Akinshola, Hon Kemi Nelson (Yeyeshewa), Hon Barr Rotimi Ogunleye, Mr Tunde Bank-Anthony and Princess Adenrele Ogunsanya.
