By TSTV Is Illegally Displaying Our Content In Nigeria- BEIN Sports Opens Up
BEIN Sports have called out TSTV Nigeria for airing one of it’s sports content to subscribers, declaring the act as illegal. BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the satellite company raised concern after the pay-tv showed Arsebal’s Europa match on Thursday, November 2nd.
An image a BBN reader sent revealed that despite the football match been aired, there was a notice that displayed across the screen stating that the content was been shared ‘illegally’. See below for the image…
In addition, BBN got hold of an inquiry made by a certain Mayowa who spoke with a representative of BEIN via it’s Live Chat platform on the official website. From the screenshots shared, BEIN denied been in any form of partnership with any pay-tv in Africa, inclusive of Nigeria. It confirms that the content was illegally aired by the new satellite television in Nigeria, which offers Pay-As-You-Use.
