Sunderland manager David Moyes is reportedly eyeing a £6.5 million move deal for Paul Pogba’s brother, Florentin.
Having signed the likes of Adnan Janzuaj, Paddy McNair and Donald Love from Old Trafford, the former Red Devils boss is keen on signing his own Pogba, brother of World record signing, Florentin Pogba who plays as a defender for St Etienne in France in a bid to bolster his defence as he prepares to lose Lamine Kone to Everton.
Florentin Pogba, 26 is the older brother of Paul Pogba and plays for the Guinean national team; the powerful centre-back as he tracked by top-flight clubs during his five years in France.
According to reports, Florentin Pogba took permission from the Guinean National team in case a move gets through.
However, St Etienne are understood to be reluctant to sell Pogba given their lack of depth at the central defence position.
David Moyes will hope to finalise the deal in a bid to salvage the situation at the Stadium of Light, following their lack-lustre start to the Premier League season.
