Award-winning actor, Williams Uchemba has announced the passing of his mother through his verified Facebook page on Monday.
In a heartfelt message, Uchemba recalled a poignant moment before her passing, where he saw her in his room in an environment unlike any he had seen before.
She appeared youthful and at peace, surrounded by unfamiliar joyful figures.
She conveyed that she liked where she was, and shortly after, Uchemba received the confirmation of her passing from the hospital.
Uchemba drew strength from his faith, quoting scripture verses that spoke of mourning and hope.
He expressed how her transition reaffirmed his belief in an afterlife, reminding him of the existence of heaven and hell.
He concluded his message by saying, “This is not goodbye, it’s see you later. Rest now mama till I see you again. You can call me Don Willy’m from up there. I love you.”
