The interview with the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress at the 2023 polls, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on BBC has gained 1.3m views on Twitter and over 145K views on YouTube hours after it was released.

The 8 minutes clip with Okwoche was posted yesterday and has generated a lot of reactions from both lovers and critics of Bola Tinubu. The views generated on YouTube within a short period are a feat mostly attained by music artists.

The former Governor of Lagos state who has been accused of shying away from interviews, shocked his naysayers after Okwoche confirmed via his verified Twitter handle, that he’ll be interviewing him. The post was sent as a caption to a photograph with Tinubu after the Chatham House release.

Tinubu who has turned down AriseTV interviews twice, including a town hall meeting, was also absent at the Peace Accord signing for all Presidential candidates of next year’s poll.

He stated that he is very confident that if the election will be free and fair, he would come out victorious, stating the reason why he gets lots of backlash from Nigerians.
