Tinubu Pledges Government By People, Emphasizes Democratic Principles

In a resolute address during the 12th National Executive Council, NEC, meeting of the party, on Thursday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu articulated a compelling vision for his administration, emphasizing a resolute commitment to the people and the principles of democracy.

President Tinubu underscored that the hard-won victory in the election was merely the first step on a prolonged path of progressive governance.

He acknowledged the multifaceted challenge of ensuring a responsive and accountable administration, he therefore urged the elected officials within the All Progressives Congress (APC) to steadfastly uphold the ideals of good governance.

Also, he acknowledged that this endeavor is pivotal in reshaping the nation’s economic and political landscape to address the pressing needs of the less fortunate.

He said, “we are embarking on a transformative journey to establish a government of, by, and for the people. My tenure has already seen the removal of subsidies, and it is now our collective responsibility to address the aspirations of the underprivileged within a restructured and thriving economy.”

Furthermore, President Tinubu implored party members to forge unity, stability, and camaraderie, drawing from a shared sense of purpose.

In the same vein, he emphasized that the nurturing of the party must commence at the grassroots level, reinforcing the foundation upon which the party stands.

With a keen focus on national development and prosperity, President Tinubu rallied the party faithful to prioritize the country’s growth.
