TETFund Visits Lagos State University, Commends Institution, Vice Chancellor

 

The Board and Directors of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Alh. Kashim Ibrahim-Imam, paid an interaction and assessment of facilities visit to the Lagos State University. The delegation was received by the institution’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. ‘Lanre Fagbohun, SAN and other members of the management.

The University was lauded by the Alh. Ibrahim-Imam for its effective utilisation of TETFund funds. He described the institution as “the greatest testimony that TETFund is performing.” Equally, he applauded LASU for her recent ranking as the 2nd best University in Nigeria.

“Since my appointment as TETFund boss, today is my happiest day. What I have heard from the VC and seen here are the greatest testimony that we are performing. And because of what I have seen, I promise you, we’ll do more for the Lagos State University,” he stated.

In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. ‘Lanre Fagbohun, SAN, praised TETFund interventions for contributing to the sustained peace in the Lagos State University through sponsorship of conferences, infrastructural development and entrepreneurship support. “With TETFund, we have deepened our capacity for research,” said Prof. Fagbohun.

 

The delegation also visited ongoing TETFund sponsored projects in the university which include the N3b high-impact project, Centre for Entrepreneurship Building, ACEITSE complex, Social Sciences new complex and Faculty of Education new complex.
